Since 1936 Allegheny Performance Plastics has been a pioneer in working with high temperature, high performance, specialty polymers.
We began using plastic resins in revolutionary ways, to print and laminate reusable plastic charts. As applications for plastics and the field of material science grew, Allegheny helped to pioneer the injection molding science needed to keep pace with the changes. We are now internationally recognized as an innovative and engineering-oriented company manufacturing a variety of end use parts with some of the most exotic resins that exist.
Today Allegheny is the go-to, high-end injection molder, manufacturer and global supplier of technically advanced functional parts and assemblies made from high-temperature, high-performance specialty polymers. Our products can be found in some of the world’s most demanding applications. We serve industries including aerospace, space, and automotive—both EV and traditional—along with many others. We have more than 100,000 parts in LEO. Our capabilities include in-house prototype manufacturing, tool repair and machining, and injection molding of high-temperature thermoplastics such as PPS, PEI, PAI, PBI, and PEEK.
We’ve recently added a location in Meadville, Pennsylvania, featuring an expansive cleanroom with nine presses ranging from 44 to 220 tons, and full-service tooling capabilities, from design through construction, maintenance, and spares. This expanded offering enhances our ability to serve medical and precision markets.
